Open Your Eyes is an interdisciplinary artwork series that unfolds across photography, video art, sculpture, and immersive installation. At its core, the series explores the emotional interiority of human existence through artificial intelligence and bio data.
Spanning photography, video art, sculpture, and immersive installation, the series blends physical and digital media to create a multi-sensory encounter with the emotional body. It draws on biometric data—iris patterns, breath, heart rate, and brain waves—interpreted through generative AI to visualise the hidden dimensions of human feeling. This convergence of machine intelligence and organic response forms a poetic meditation on the boundaries between selfhood and algorithm, sensation and simulation.
The inaugural piece in the series, Good Morning, Mr. G-Dragon, uses G-Dragon’s iris data as a gateway into an imagined emotional universe. Through AI interpretation, the artwork opens a window into a uniquely personal yet universally resonant terrain—where technology does not simply replicate the human, but co-creates with it.
